During my year abroad in Germany, I was exposed to functional design — being able to create something that was subjectively good or bad based on how useful it was.
Coming from the subjective field of graphic design, this changed my life, and I knew I wanted to pursue a career in UX.
I built a portfolio of work and returned to SJSU for my Master's In Human Factors & Ergonomics.
My ideas about UX were challenged. The more I learned about human psychology and physiology, the more that I realized I could combine what I had learned to make my designs both data-driven and aesthetic.
I started working in a small, but powerful UX Design & Research agency before I graduated.
I got my hands-in every stage of the design process from ideating and designing to user-testing.
